Marriage Services During COVID-19 Crisis

You can call the office for an appointment, ICCNC can arrange an online ceremony. Please note that documents required for an online ceremony have changed.

Required Documents

  1. Original California (or other states) civil marriage license or certificate

  2. Copies of valid pictured identification for bride and groom

Additional Documents For Iranian Nationals

  • Copies of all the pages of Iranian birth certificate (Shenasnameh) or ID page of the Iranian passport

  • Copies of the National ID Card or Karte Melli of the bride and groom

  • Copies of two male Iranian National ID Card or Karte Melli as the witness

For non-Iranian nationals

Copy of a valid driver license or passport is required

Marriage 

The Islamic marriage ceremony and recitation of “Khotbeh Aghd ” may be held at ICCNC or other locations. ICCNC issues an Islamic marriage certificate that is accepted by the Interest Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Washington D.C. Also, we specialize in cross-cultural marriages; our ceremonies can be conducted in English, Persian, or both languages.

Fee

Fees for ceremonies held at other locations will vary depending on the date, time, and location. Please click the Request Info button to learn more.

Divorce Services During COVID-19 Crisis

You can call the office for an appointment, ICCNC can arrange an online session.  Please note that documents required for an online divorce have changed.

Required Documents:

  1. Original Civil Divorce document

  2. Copies of  valid pictured identification for bride and groom

Additional Document for Iranian Nationals

  • Copies of all the pages of Iranian birth certificate (Shenasnameh) or ID page of Iranian passport,

  • Copies of the Iranian National ID (Karte Melli) of both parties

  • Copies of 2 male Iranian men’s Karte Melli as the witness

For Non-Iranian Nationals

  • Copy of a valid driver license or passport is required

Divorce

ICCNC will issue an Islamic divorce certificate that is accepted by the Interest Section of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Washington D.C.  The Islamic divorce ceremonies and recitation of “Khutbeh Talagh” are held at ICCNC only, and parties must be present during the divorce process.

Fee

Divorce certificate: $375.

  1. Certified copy of the divorce decree issued by the State of California or other states.

  2. Pictured identification for each person.  For the Iranian nationals, a birth certificate or passport, and for others valid driver's license or passport is required.
