Youth Ethics and Islamic Studies 2010-2011

Bookmark and Share
This year’s youth Ethics and Islamic Study classes consist of two sections: Islamic Character Building and Quran Appreciation. The goal is for our students to learn about their religion, develop a love of God and Islam, connect the religious concepts to their everyday life, and become strong and proud Muslims and morally sound human beings.   Students will develop an Islamic identity through participation in Islamic rituals, practices, and discussions.  Quran appreciation will emphasize on the appreciation of key Quranic words, and meaning.

We are fortunate to have energetic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed young Muslim teachers who have been trained to teach these classes.

The Ethics and Islamic Studies classes provide learning opportunities for students in ages 7 to 18 at five different levels. The subjects are tailored according to the cognitive developmental level of students. Students are grouped based on their age level, so each group will enjoy their peer relation, interaction and age appropriate group discussions in the classroom. Please note that all the classes will be in English.
