ICCNC Art Gallery
ICCNC Art Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of ICCNC's building, is the first Bay Area gallery specializing in Muslim artists and Islamic art. All are welcome to our reception and official launch of the gallery on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

Muharram 2010 Programs
ICCNC invites all those who stand for justice, peace, and freedom in the world to the following special programs to remember the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and his followers to uphold the true message of Islam during the Islamic month of Muharram in year of 680 AD (61 AH).

Islamic Chinese Calligraphy Haji Noor Exhibition at ICCNC
Explore the art work of world renowned Chinese Islamic calligrapher Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang at ICCNC. Exhibit days and hours are November 18th to 22nd, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. He will be giving a lecture on November 22, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Last 10 Nights of Ramadan, Laylatul al-Qadr, and Martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS)

Please join us for iftar and special programs for the 21st and 23rd nights of Ramadan, and special Ramadan program from Aug 31 to Sept 4, 2010.  All programs  starts with Maghrib prayer followed by iftar and English lectures by Dr. Hamid Mavani and special supplications duas.

Dr. Hamid Mavani is Assistant Professor of Religion, Islamic Studies at the School of Religion, Claremont Graduate University. He has been active at the academic and community level in promoting interfaith dialogue, inter- and intra-Muslim dialogue, religious pluralism, civil society, democratic governance, reform in the Islamic legal tradition, gender and religion, and environmental ethics. His primary fields of interest include Islamic legal reform, Muslims in America, Twelver Shi’ism, Qur’anic studies and Contemporary developments in the Muslim world.

Tue. August 31 (Ramadan 20) Laylat-ul-Qadr & Imam Ali (AS) Martyrdom - Maghrib Prayer, iftar, special duas, lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani (English) and special program for women by Mrs. Shahnaz Hirbod (Farsi). This program starts at 7 pm.

Wed. September 1 (Ramadan 21)
- Prayer, iftar, lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani (English), and duas.

Thu. September 2 (Ramadan 22) - Laylat-ul-Qadr
- Prayer, iftar, lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani(English), and special duas.

Fri. September 3 (Ramadan 23)
- Prayer, iftar, lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani (English), and duas.

Sat. September 4 (Ramadan 24
) - Prayer, iftar, lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani (English), and duas.

Thu. September 9 (Ramadan 29)
- Prayer, iftar, Dua Kumayl.

Fri., September 10 (Shawal 1) Eid-ul-Fitr
- Prayer starting at 9:00 am, and lecture by Dr. Hamid Mavani (English).
