ICCNC Art Gallery
ICCNC Art Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of ICCNC's building, is the first Bay Area gallery specializing in Muslim artists and Islamic art. All are welcome to our reception and official launch of the gallery on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

Islamic Chinese Calligraphy Haji Noor Exhibition at ICCNC
Explore the art work of world renowned Chinese Islamic calligrapher Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang at ICCNC. Exhibit days and hours are November 18th to 22nd, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. He will be giving a lecture on November 22, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Dec. 4, 2010 at Islam and Authors: Dr. Kecia Ali on "Marriage and Slavery in Early Islam"

On Dec. 4, 2010 at 6 pm, Islam and Authors welcomes Dr. Kecia Ali, author of "Marriage and Slavery in Early Islam", in a conversation with Jason van Boom. Join us for the onstage conversation, audience Q&A, and book signing.

Eid ul-Adha Celebration Wednesday Nov. 17, 2010

The new crescent moon was sighted at many locations in America at sunset of November 7th, 2010, therefore Monday November 8th, 2010 is the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah 1431 for North America. ICCNC will observe the blessed day of Eid al-Adha on Wednesday, November 17, insha'Allah. The Eid prayer will start at 8 am.

Please join us for a conversation onstage with author Sumbul Ali-Karamali on Sat. Oct. 30, 2010 at 6 pm about her latest book "The Muslim Next Door: the Qur’an, the Media, and that Veil Thing".
 

Eid ul-Fitr Mubarak!

Eid Muabrak! Tonight crescent moon of Shawwal 1431 was sighted in numerous places around the U.S. and in San Francisco Bay Area; therefore, Friday Sept. 10, 2010 is Eid ul-Fitr. ICCNC will have the first Eid Prayer at 8:30 am and the second Eid prayer at 9:30 am. Dr. Hamid Mavani will lead both of the prayers.
 

ICCNC's Guiding Principles for Declaring Eid ul-Fitr

New crescent for Shawwal 1431 will become visible to the naked eyes in North America on Thursday September 9, 2010. Most likely the beginning of Shawwal, Eid ul-Fitr, will be Friday September 10, 2010. However, this has to be verified by sighting the new moon. First prayer is at 8:30 am and the second prayer is at 9:30 am. Dr. Hamid Mavani will lead both prayers.
 

Last 10 Nights of Ramadan, Laylatul al-Qadr, and Martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS)

Please join us for iftar and special programs for the 21th and 23rd nights of Ramadan, and special Ramadan program from Aug 31 to Sept 4, 2010. All programs starts with Maghrib prayer followed by iftar and English lectures by Dr. Hamid Mavani and special supplications duas.
 

19th of Ramadan, Night of Measure, and Martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS)

Please join us for iftar and special programs for the Night of 19th of Ramadan, Sunday August 29, 2010. This is Night of Destiny or Measure (Laylat Al-Qadr) and the night that Imam Ali (AS) was assassinated. The program starts with Maghrib prayer at 8:00 pm.
