Eid Muabrak! Tonight crescent moon of Shawwal 1431 was sighted in numerous places around the U.S.; therefore, tomorrow Friday Sept. 10, 2010 is Eid ul-Fitr.
We congratulate all of you on this joyous occasion and we pray that God, the Almighty, have accepted our fasts, prayers, charity, and good deeds throughout the Ramadan. Inshallah, God continues to rein His blessings and mercy upon all of us.
ICCNC will conduct the first Eid Prayer at 8:30 am and the second Eid prayer at 9:30 am. Dr. Hamid Mavani will lead both of the prayers.
Please Note the Following:
- Prayer will be started with takbeerat at 8:15 am
- 1st prayer at 8:30 am / 2nd prayer at 9:30am
- Sermons will be right after the prayers and they are part of the prayers.
- Breakfast will be served after the prayers in ICCNC dinning hall.
- Zakat-ul Fitra is $12 to $15 per person (Min. is $12)
- Zakat should be paid before Eid Prayer
- Kaffareh is $4 per day
- ICCNC parking is rented to monthly customers; therefore, we cordially requests all of you to park your cars on the streets or public parkings around ICCNC. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
- There will be no Friday Prayer. Islamic jurisprudence dictates that if Eid falls on a Friday then the Friday Prayer is not performed.
