ICCNC Art Gallery
ICCNC Art Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of ICCNC's building, is the first Bay Area gallery specializing in Muslim artists and Islamic art. All are welcome to our reception and official launch of the gallery on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 7:00 pm.

Muharram 2010 Programs
ICCNC invites all those who stand for justice, peace, and freedom in the world to the following special programs to remember the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and his followers to uphold the true message of Islam during the Islamic month of Muharram in year of 680 AD (61 AH).

Islamic Chinese Calligraphy Haji Noor Exhibition at ICCNC
Explore the art work of world renowned Chinese Islamic calligrapher Haji Noor Deen Mi Guang Jiang at ICCNC. Exhibit days and hours are November 18th to 22nd, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. He will be giving a lecture on November 22, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Muslim Certificate

All praises be to God, the Lord of the Universe. May the peace and blessings of God be upon Muhammad, His last Messenger.

You do not need anyone's permission to become Muslim. You can be any color,  race, age, speak any language and still become a Muslim.  You do not need to do a course or obtain a certificate to become a Muslim.  All you have to do is to say Shahada. 

The Shahada can be declared as follows:

"ASH-Hadu An La Elaha Illa-Allah Wa Ashhadu Anna Mohammadan Rasul-Allah".

The English translation is:

"I bear witness that there is no deity but, God, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of God"

However, it would not be sufficient for anyone to only utter this testimony oraly either in private or in public; but rather, he should believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakable faith. If one is truly sincere and complies with the teachings of Islam in all his life, he will find himself a new born person.


However, for those who require a document to show that they have officially become a Muslim, ICCNC will issue a certificate to this effect.

One photo ID is required. There is no fee for this service, however donations are always welcomed.
