Sadia Saifuddin, who is studying social welfare at UC Berkeley, is believed to be the first Muslim who would represent students on the Board of Regents.

Dr. Nobahar on Sabbatical until July 2013

Dr. Nobahar, Religious Director of ICCNC, has travelled back to Iran on a well-deserved vacation. He will also take some personal time to attend his daughter's wedding, and take care of some sabbatical studies and research.  We expect Dr. Nobahar to return to us around July 8th just in time to get ready for the holy month of Ramadan. 

Due to good planning on his part and preparations made in advance, our volunteers will manage most of his responsibilities in his absence. 

We wish Dr. Nobahar a very safe trip, and pray for his safe return.
